We offer a client portal for convenient and secure file transfer.
The client portal is used for the secure file exchange of:
- Information from you, the client
- For example: W-2’s, 1099’s and any other source documents we will need in our possession to prepare your tax return- including your completed organizer
- Information from us, your tax preparers
- Including documents we share with you by uploading to each individual’s client portal
- For example: copies of completed tax returns
The client portal, if chosen, could easily eliminate the travel and/or mailing expense that can be involved with dropping off and picking up documents. Dropping off, however, is still available to those who prefer face-to-face interactions and are not accustomed to using portals. We love to see our clients!
How to get started:
- Contact Simplitax to let us know you are interested in using the secure client portal
- We will then begin the set up process of your portal and you will be sent an e-mail message requesting that you set up an individualized log-in and password
- Once complete, we both can begin uploading documents
- Your portal is easily accessed through our site here.
Please note that the documents Simplitax uploads to the portal are only available temporarily to allow you to retrieve and save documents as you see fit. The portal is not a long-term storage solution for client documents.
